Cinnamon Toast Crunch Milkshake
We’ve all heard of breakfast for dinner (big fans in this household), but what about breakfast for dessert? Why not breakfast all day long?! Well, if you’re liking this train of thought, you’re gonna love this milkshake.

Brian and I are on a big Cinnamon Toast Crunch kick right now. He likes his for breakfast and I like to treat myself to a bowl after dinner. We enjoy the finer things in life, clearly. Well, as delicious as it is the good old-fashioned way, I thought I’d try jazzing things up a bit. And since Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal milk is the best kind of cereal milk there is, a Cinnamon Toast Crunch milkshake was the obvious way to go.

Cinnamon Toast Crunch Milkshake Ingredients
The science behind this milkshake is quite simple, really. A standard milkshake recipe is a combination of milk and ice cream. With this, we’re replacing the regular milk with Cinnamon-Toast-Crunch cereal milk, and that’s it!

To make it the way I had it, you’ll need 1 cup milk, 1 cup Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal, a little more cereal for garnish, 4 scoops vanilla ice cream and a can of whipped cream topping. This batch yields two 8-oz glasses or one really big glass. Too bad I had to share.

To start, combine the milk and cereal and let it steep for a good 20 minutes, really making sure the cereal is soggy and that the cinnamon sugar has transferred to the cereal milk.

Once the milk is sufficiently infused and sweetened, strain the milk from the cereal and transfer the milk to a blender. What you do with the soggy cereal is up to you.

I like a slightly thinner milkshake, and found the consistency from 4 scoops of ice cream to be pretty spot on. If you prefer thicker milkshakes, you can use more ice cream or use less cereal milk and adjust to taste. The world is your oyster.

Blend until smooth.

Cinnamon Toast Crunch Crumbs
See those cereal crumbs? That’s for this next part which is my favorite step in any food preparation.

Garnishing!

Pour the milkshake into glasses and top them with a generous swirl of whipped topping, and sprinkle with cereal crumbs. That’s all there is to it.

This milkshake is so fantastic and about as easy as it gets. Not much harder than pouring yourself a bowl of cereal, when you think about it. What’s more, now that you know how to make this, you can apply it to any and all of your favorite cereals. Fan of Cocoa Puffs? Lucky Charms? Just copy the formula and go. I’d love to hear any other ideas you have for cereal milk.

On a very related note, have you heard about the new Cinnamon Toast Crunch Selfie Spoon? I’m hoping there’s one with my name on it.

The recipe plug-in doesn’t seem to be working, so the separate recipe box is missing for now. I’ll check back in later and update it once it’s resolved.
