Hello hello. So, I’m gonna be real with you and say that calling this recipe for Apple Tea a “recipe” is a bit of a stretch, but it’s good and easy, and because steeping tea in apple juice isn’t the most obvious thing to do, sharing this new discovery seemed like the right thing to do. So, if you’ve been looking for new ways to enjoy warm apple drinks this fall, I’ve got you covered. The Caramel Apple Spice and Hot Chai Apple Cider are great options too.
To make this easy drink, all you need is two parts apple juice, 1 part water, 1 black tea bag and honey, if you wish. If you’re making just one serving, try 2/3 cup apple juice, 1/3 cup water.
Start by heating the apple tea and water over the stove or in the microwave.
Next, steep a black tea bag for at least 3 minutes. Stir in some honey if you wish and enjoy your mug of hot apple tea. That’s it!
If you like your tea with milk, add some of that in as well.
See what I meant about this being a little too easy to share? Well, I’m glad I did, because after the week I’ve had, I’ll take all of the easy I can get.
Friday, we’re almost there.
