1. The 2014 Hater’s Guide to the Williams-Sonoma Catalog. Totally on point, but I still love and want it all. (Deadspin)
2. How Mindy Lahiri Are You? I was disappointed to learn I’m only “Mindy-ish.” (BuzzFeed)
3. A fake-out international airfare-booking tip that can save you big bucks, or euros, or pesos. (Time)
4. I haven’t skied in over a decade, but Brian’s never been and is coming home with me for Christmas, so I’m giving it another go. So far, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the shopping in preparation for the skiing. Favorite purchase? These great socks. (Columbia Sportswear)
5. Tonight’s the first night of Hanukkah. Light up the night with this great parody of “Shake it Off.” Not only is it catchy, but it’s so well written that you actually learn quite a lot about the holiday. (YouTube)
6. If you’re in need of a great guy’s stocking stuffer, look no further. The Wallet Ninja is your answer. The creator was recently interviewed on Bloomberg Television and I loved the concept. Great gift, right? (Wallet Ninja)
7. Mesmerized by this video of an expert gift wrapper doing his thing. I’ve taken notes. (The Telegraph)

3. This Paris-New York splitscreen time-lapse video is one of the best things I’ve seen. I love both cities so much and watching this  made me fall for them all over again. (Laughing Squid)

1. Oh Joy! for Target strikes again with a great line of holiday-themed products for darling entertaining. I want one of everything. (Target)
2. Since I haven’t been in my early 20s for a couple of years now, I thought the hostel ship had long sailed. These expertly-designed hot hostels have me rethinking my ruling them out. Too bad, Brian, now in his early 30s, won’t agree no matter how stylish. (Conde Nast Traveller)
3. Angry breakup songsare the best, aren’t they? Here’s a round-up of the best “lady-revenge music videos,” a list inspired by Taylor Swift’s fabulous Blank Space video. (Glamour)
4. Speaking of breakups, this still legally married couple’s story on how they “uncoupled” really irks me out. I blame Gwyneth. (Good Housekeeping)
5. My Target-purchased snow boots have served me well for several years, but it might be time for an upgrade. I love the look of these Sperry Top-Sider for J.Crew Shearwater Buckle Boots
6. The ponytail is something I still struggle with. I’m willing to give these fancier versions a try, but I’m still not convinced I’ll ever look good in one. (Elle)
7. Holiday gift-brainstorming is in full swing around these parts. To help me with my planning, I love consulting store gift guides. They’re always so festive and well-curated and really get me in the gift-giving spirit. C. Wonder’s got a great one, and I particularly love this heart knot earring box. From experience, I know that they have great gift boxes, so no wrapping required. (C. Wonder)
8. For a good laugh at mostly serious anchorman Anderson Cooper, you’ll want to watch this. Major kudos to his coworkers. And not washing expensive jeans is a thing? Really? Suddenly, I’m relieved name-brand jeans isn’t one of my burdens. (YouTube)

1. The dream is to someday work from the comfort of my own home. I’m bookmarking Emily’s tips and hope to exercise them sooner rather than later. (Cupcakes and Cashmere)
2. Must read: a genius artist reimagines movie classics by removing one letter in the title. I’m so impressed! (Twisted Sifter)
3. My iPhone 4s’s days are numbered, so I’m considering upgrading to an iPhone 6. Unfortunately, the case selection is still quite limited, but these guys aren’t so bad. (Heavy)
4. Brian will soon be taking his talents to the Justice Network, a tv startup based in Atlanta. It’s a great opportunity that’s been hush-hush until yesterday when news of the new network went public. You can check out the sizzle reel to see what it’s all about. (Justice Network)
5. I can’t wait to someday own a home with a home office and to furnish it with a lovely DIY black and gold globe like this one. (Love & Renovations)

8. Brian and I are finally getting around to taking engagement photos this weekend. I still have no idea what to wear, but am finding these tips to be quite helpful. (The Bridal Link)
