I hope this Tuesday finds you well. Here’s my latest list of desires and distractions.

1. I had a small stye last week (sorry for sharing), and need to do a better job of removing my eye makeup before bed. I currently use Clinique’s oil-free eye makeup remover, but it only scored an A- on this list of reviews. A minuses weren’t good enough for my mom, the same should be said for my eyes. (Good Housekeeping)
2. After reading Victoria’s post on how Todoist keeps her sane, I thought, “hey, why not?” and decided to give the app a try myself. It’s nothing earth-shattering, but I do like how it syncs across platforms, lets me keep my school, work and blog tasks organized, and very much enjoy its minimalistic, white aesthetic. (Todoist)
3. I’m a devout Hello Kitty fan and love her in nearly all of her forms, but this new “sexy” Playboy version? Not even I can get behind that. (The Gloss)
4. International Women’s Day was this past Saturday. Here are some inspiring quotes from female celebs. I, like Amy Poehler, enjoy being bossy too. (Bustle)
5. One of the things I love most about living in DC is the fact that it’s completely acceptable for a woman to go 365 days without once slipping on a stiletto heel. Still, I liked reading what Carrie Bradshaw had to say about her new shoe line and tips on walking comfortably. (Lucky)
6. Yeah, these flat shoes are much more up my alley. (Nordstrom)
7. In anticipation of The Grand Budapest Hotel, here’s your guide to a Wes Anderson-inspired wardrobe. (Elle)
8. Have you read the Newsweek piece claiming to have found the real Satashi Nakamoto, aka the supposed creator of Bitcoin? What did you think? I found the exposé to be quite compelling, but I seem to be in the minority. It’s also worth pointing out that up until a few years ago, I still believed Princess Anastasia survived her family’s untimely death. (Newsweek)
