I hope this Tuesday finds you well. Here are my latest desires and distractions.

1. I want to kick things off with a special shout-out to my girl, Monica of Cake and Lilies. Not only did she just launch a brand new and impressive site design for her daily lifestyle blog, she also just landed a new day job and I’m quite the proud friend. Please join me in congratulating her and checking out what she’s all about. (Cake & Lilies)
2. Obsessed doesn’t even begin to cover my love for Taylor Swift’s Shake it OffI’ve been listening to the song on repeat and can’t wait for her new album to drop. Tell me you feel the same way. (Vevo)
3. It wasn’t until Sunday night that I tried Annie’s Mac and Cheese for the very first time. My verdict: unimpressed. The Kraft original tastes so much better, but I suppose that’s all owed to the processed bad-for-you stuff. Anyway, I haven’t given up on Annie’s just yet, and will be giving the organic variety a few more tries with Shutterbean’s many ways to enhance a box of Annie’s. (Shutterbean)
4. I’ve always loved home-improvement blogs, but the fact that I actually know Chloe makes hers that much cooler to me. She’s got a great closet-space optimization tutorial that’s definitely worth reading. (Little House Big City)
5. Seeing all of the back-to-school pictures on Facebook reminds me of my love of buying school supplies. I recently discovered Yoobi, maker of fun, colorful classroom paraphernalia. Best of all, for every Yoobi item purchased, a Yoobi item is donated to a classroom in need. (Yoobi)
6. I’m already looking to fall’s chic sweaters and sweatshirts. I especially like this one. (Piperlime)
7. Used bubble gum street art. I’ve seen it all. (Bored Panda)
8. Profound yet hilarious shower thoughts read by the equally profound Nick Offerman. (Mashable)

  1. Eee you’re the sweetest! Stop. I can’t wait to see you tomorrow! :) Only I’m slightly disappointed that you don’t like Annie’s… Kraft is amaze too, but I think of them as very different foods (almost like how veggie burgers can’t be true substitutes to beef patties but are good as their own breed of food).

  2. Teesa says:

aw, i’m also that you didn’t like annie’s :/ and this is totally random, but have you ever tried the mac and cheese from tokyo joe’s? yes it’s on the kids menu, but it is fantastic!

  3. Teesa says:

oops! i meant to say “i’m also sad”
