It’s looking more and more like fall around here as I anxiously await four separate shipments of sweaters. I love everything about this time of year, but have felt a little conflicted after enjoying last weekend’s 90-degree weather so much.
That inner turmoil is the reason behind my sharing this unmistakably summer recipe for today’s throwback* post.
While I’m usually partial to cream-cheese frosting, this raspberry buttercream is a great complement to lemony cupcakes. I highly recommend it if you too need a small, yet tasty escape from the fall. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m welcoming the new season with arms wide open, but thought it wouldn’t hurt to give a nod to those warmer days that are very much welcome to pop in every once in a while if they’re feeling up for it.
