This week’s pic me up goes out to a little town called London.
Some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever had was enjoyed in London’s Chinatown last summer. My family was only in London for three days and we went to Chinatown for four of our meals.
I’m on my way to the real deal now. We’ll see how it compares.
See you on the other side!
This week’s pic me up is dedicated to Paris, the favorite destination of my daydreams. I can only hope my trip to China is half as wonderful as last year’s trip to the City of Lights.
Here are some pictures from my weekend at home in beautiful Colorado. We spent a night in Dillon and made trips to nearby Breckenridge and Vail. We’ve never been an outdoorsy family, but it was a nice change and the fresh mountain air did us all some good. It almost makes me regret all the times I opted for weekends at the movie theater and mall. Almost.
Speaking of which, the week is halfway over!
I’m going home this weekend for Father’s Day/my mom’s birthday. Around this time last year we went on a whirlwind trip to Europe. Aurora, Colorado isn’t quite Rome, but I’m very much looking forward to some quality time with my parents.
I hope you’re having a good week and if you’re not, at least it’s halfway over. Happy Hump Day!
I’m dedicating my inaugural ‘midweek pic me up’ (something I hope to do regularly) to my dear friends Rohini and Megan and to the great cities of San Antonio and Austin. I can’t believe it’s been more than two months since we were last together enjoying the sun and sights of Texas.
These pictures put a smile on my face and are a welcome reminder of the fun still to be had. Happy hump day!
