Hi guys! It’s been a while, an embarrassingly long while, but rather than get into why I’ve been such a slacker (another topic for another time), I thought I’d just get things rolling with another one of my travel home videos. This time featuring the always lovely L.A. from nearly two months back (again, major slacker) when we made the trip for my dear friend Foram’s wedding to her beloved Ben. The wedding was perfect as was the weather, and we couldn’t have asked for a better time. Figuring out how to win the lottery so we can return and live there for good is currently a top personal priority. Until then, enjoy this video!

Bonjour, mes amis! I’m finally able to share the second and final video from our Italy-Paris honeymoon from back in August (August! – doesn’t that feel like a lifetime ago?).

Anyway, this was my third trip to Paris, Brian’s second, but our first time there together. It will certainly not be the last. While the focus of our honeymoon was Italy (10 nights, versus the finally 3 in Paris), the City of Love sure did upstage things. We’d both done all the main tourist attractions before, and yet the beauty, culture and all of the feels left us feeling like we could never get enough. This planet of ours is a big one with a lot of worthy places to visit, but if you told me I had to limit my travels to Paris and only Paris for the rest of my life, I wouldn’t be mad.

This video captures some of the highlights from our too-quick visit, including our first-and-also-not-last visit to Disneyland Paris (the Ratatouille ride is amazing and Brian talked about it for days). Would it be terribly American and uncultured of me to say that that was our favorite part? Because it kinda was. I have no idea when we’ll make our way back there, so until we do, this guy will have to tide us over.

Today, I’m very happy and exhausted (I stayed up way too late editing this) to share the first of two honeymoon home videos starring the always beautiful Italy. For now, I’ll let the video speak for itself, and follow up with more details on restaurants and things to do in the next couple days.

If you like what you see, you can catch my other home videos right here.

P.S. I really wanted to edit this video to the tune of “That’s Amore,” but ultimately decided it wasn’t the right fit. I sure do love that song though, mostly for the imagery of getting pizza pies thrown in the eye. Sign me up.

Hello hello! I’m back again with another home video. This time, from my bachelorette weekend in Charleston and Folly Beach, South Carolina. I had the best time, and tried to do it justice with these two minutes and change, but much of the fun had to be edited out. Still, I hope you and everyone involved enjoys it.

Thanks again to all who attended, it was such a pleasure to see friends from different stages of my life come together in one place. Special thanks to Rohini and Megan for going above and beyond. The entire experience was so thoughtful and I could not ask for better friends.

More details on bachelorette goodie bags and the like to come in later posts. If you’re interested, search #iheartyy for more pictures from the weekend.

Hello there! So I realize last week’s plan for regular blogging didn’t quite go as I’d hoped, but I’m back today with a fun little video to make up for it. Brian and I spent both Memorial Day weekend and this past weekend in Cleveland so I thought it’d be nice to put together a home video highlighting what the city has to offer.

Believe it or not, one of the most common reactions I get when I tell people I’m getting married in Cleveland is, “Ugh! Why?” I get it. Cleveland doesn’t have the best reputation, but I hope this video shines a new light on Brian’s beloved city that I’ve come to know and love myself. We’re really excited to be getting married there (exactly two months from today!) and hope our guests will feel the same way.

P.S. I apologize in advance for my horrible moon-walk attempt.

Yang Charleston Bachelorette Invitation{My beautiful bachelorette invites designed by my dear Megan}

Still living in a mostly unpacked state, I haven’t quite figured out how to get back to this blogging thing, but I’ve made an executive decision, and next week I’m returning to the regularly scheduled programming no matter what. I have to, because if I can’t pull it off next week, then I don’t stand much of a chance going forward. I’ll be away the following four weekends in a row (Denver, Chicago, Sarasota and Indianapolis) with more travel on the horizon. I’m so exhausted yet excited just thinking about it! Traveling every weekend is something quite common for me around the summertime, but this year’s bouncing about is getting started a little earlier than usual thanks to the wedding. So the point is, I really need to learn to get my act together because as time-consuming as it can be to do everything involved with blogging, it makes me happy and I ought to keep it up.

My Charleston bachelorette won’t be until late June (taking suggestions!), but it’s definitely the trip I’m most looking forward to (other than the honeymoon, of course). How darling is that invite? My dear friend Megan really outdid herself this time, hand-lettering and drawing everything like the pro that she is. She’s working on starting her own wedding stationery and online print shop, and I’m so excited for her and for all of you, really. Because soon, everyone will be able to enjoy her designs. She is without a doubt the most talented person I know and I’m lucky to have her as a friend and my own personal wedding designer.

Ok, that’s it from me this week. I’m off to make the most of my first and only weekend in Atlanta for a little while. Wishing you a wonderful weekend and I’ll see you back here on Monday!

Also, I love Katy Perry’s “This Is How We Do” music video. It’s the perfect girls’ weekend song, plus the dancing popsicles and pizzas really did me in.
